The 2023 Run in the Sun will be a Ride to Oceanside. We Ride in Hope to Save Lives!
We will leave from Shreveport, LA on September 12th and head to Oceanside, CA. Arriving in Oceanside on Sept. 14th. We will head back to Shreveport on Sept. 17th.
Throughout the trip we will be handing out Information Cards about Ovarian Cancer and proper testing. The Information Cards will also include statistics about this “Silent Cancer”. Early detection is key!
We will share our Mom’s experience as much as possible and record video to document our stops along the way. And of course, pictures as well.
Our bikes will have the Ovarian Cancer Ribbon on the front and we will be wearing Ovarian Cancer Awareness apparel for the duration of the trip.
This is a 3,160 mile round trip. Raising $1 a mile each would be $6,320.00.
