All children are born a boy or a girl! Not a Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, or any other religion. Don’t laugh! Recently I met a thirty two year old man on an airplane from Austin, Texas to Raleigh, NC. He told me he was born a Baptist. My own son at the age of sixteen told me his Gram told him he was born a Catholic. Folks, I am serious. Everything we ever learn we learn from someone, somewhere somehow. And believe me when I say Kids learn a lot of untruths while growing up. The Bible teaches parents to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it Prov. 22:6. And in Ephesians 6:1-4 It reads Children obey your parents. Honor your father and your mother which is the first commandment with promise that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth. Parents are instructed not to provoke their children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. There is an awesome responsibility and accountability both to parents and to children on their understanding and obedience of these biblical instructions. Life is full of choices both good and bad. With good choices comes good consequences. With bad choices comes bad consequences. Choose! We all get to Choose.

Children need hope for their future: Ps. 71:5 For thou are my hope, O Lord God You are my trust from my youth.

Essential keys to hope: All children must know that they are loved, cared for, protected from all harm and given the best education to prepare them for life’s journey.

All children are a gift from God, they are special, smart, gifted and talented. Children should be inspired and encouraged to pursue their passions and dreams. Knowing God has a plan and purpose for their life. Teach children to “Fully Rely On God” He will instruct them and teach them in the ways they should go, He will guide them with His eye and hold their hand in His.
